Welcome to SLAA of Omaha's Intergroup Website

Our primary purpose is to help sex and love addicts recover from sex and love addiction, whether your pattern of addiction is primarily sex addiction or love addiction or some combination of the two. We are a Twelve Step; Twelve Tradition oriented Fellowship, based on the model pioneered by Alcoholics Anonymous. We have at least one meeting everyday and multiple meetings on some days.

Meeting information is available on this site (click this Meeting List link) or by phone at (402) 573-6790.

If you think you may have a problem with sex and love addiction you are welcome to attend our meetings. We ask that you respect the anonymity of those attending.

We hope you will join us. Thousands of people just like you have found recovery through our program. We hope you will too.

How SLAA began in Omaha

This is the story as it was told to me and as I remember it.

Omaha's 'S' Fellowship Clubhouse

Omaha has what we believe to be the oldest 'S' fellowship clubhouse in the world.  We opened our first SLAA clubhouse in 1987 in a very small space next to a barbershop and beneath a takeout bar-b-que restaurant.

Previously we met in two Presbyterian churches.  A scandal involving a Presbyterian minister in central Nebraska prompted the churches to request that we find other locations for our meetings.  We developed a resentment and decided that we should take matters into our own hands and began a search for retail or office space so we wouldn't be at the mercy of others.  Holding our meetings outdoors in a central Omaha park it only took a couple of weeks to find a space and we had our first clubhouse.
